Week 13


Hi everybody,

This week we did some play tests, and they went pretty well! We may have made that Surgers only level... way too hard, but it still created some compelling experiences. It should be much more enjoyable once we make it a bit less crushing. Overall, we're happy to see the campaign getting up to the one hour mark for an "average" player. No telling how much of that will make it into the final product (and what the final product will be for that matter), but it was a nice milestone to pass.

This week we added some neat UX features. The biggest one is that buildings can now have two different "build modes". For example, wires are normal built in lines, but now you can cover an entire square area instead, and turrets can be built in lines instead of one at a time:

We're also making lots of adjustments to our brand new levels, messing around with upgrades,  and generally messing with how the entire campaign is going to fit together. We'll let you know when we have something more concrete to show off.
